Have you seen the new @OMGSolutionsNZ on my Facebook business page? All businesses now have this. It defaults to your current username/url, so may not be quite right for your business. The good news is, you can change this. Following are four easy steps so you can change yours.
Note: Your old username / url will redirect to the new one.
Before the change the @mention below is OutrageousLoveOutrageousLife. Afterwards it is changed to @OwnIt.BeIt.LiveIt
1. Head to your About tab, and then click on Page Info.
2. Hover over your Username and click edit.
3. Type your new @mention name. Remember no spaces. You can use capitals and fullstops if you want to differentiate between words. Read this short article on @mentions and #hashtags here.
4. Click Create Username. I have found you actually need to press this twice. The below box will then pop up with how you can then use your new @mention username.
If you have any questions, or get stuck, just get in touch I'll be happy to walk you through it.
